We Are The Same Blood

Happy Friday everyone!

This morning I was lucky enough to catch the 1987 documentary Hail, Hail, Rock N' Roll!

The film follows Chuck Barry around his home and various concerts, with short anecdotes told by Keith Richards, Bruce Springsteen, and Little Richard among others.

Below is a small moment that I found particularly interesting. It makes me feel better to know that these events aren't just confined to small practice spaces, tucked inside business parks.

Enjoy!

Garden Party

A few weeks ago we played an event sponsored by IsGoodMusic.com, called the Garden Party. It was a loft party on S. Garey St in LA. It was in close vicinity to a magnificent sausage restaurant called Wurstküche. Our friend Kat invited us there for dinner, and for that, we owe our eternal gratitude.

Here are a few pictures taken that evening that were sent to us via myspace, along with video taken by our friend Ryan.

Ryan had already consumed two JOOSE beverages by the time this was filmed, so kudos for still being able to operate the camera.

Don't Be Scared

MGMT full live concert on Letterman.

Still not sure how I feel about the music, but always in love with who MGMT are. I think it is growing on me.

I might be jumping on the Congratulations band wagon.

No arguing, they SLAY EARS live.
